We have made it to Beijing! We went from the airport, to the hotel and straight to bed. Woke up at midnight and tried to sleep the rest of the night, which didn't really happen!

Today, we exchanged money at the bank in preparation for the adoption tomorrow. We then headed out with some of our group to old Beijing (Hutong) for a tour. We went on a rickshaw around the very narrow and old streets and then walked around some of the shops and the lake. It was cold today, Lilah fell asleep and Tim and her sat down on the steps, where one of the rickshaw men thought it was funny to cover them in a blanket.

There are always some interesting flavors of chips here. This is just one.

Tomorrow, we fly to Sichuan very early and get Zoe. Blogger is blocked here, so Abby will be my blogger back home, but the pictures may be small.

We can read our email and facebook messages, but cannot reply on facebook, as that is blocked as well.
