Letter to Lilah's foster family

While in China, we mailed an update about Lilah and some photos to her foster family and the group home (True Children's Home) that oversaw her care.

It was a huge concern to her foster mother when we adopted her, that she would lose contact and never know what happened to her En En.

Quote from Lilah: "Mom, when I am REALLY REALLY old, like...seven, I am going to get a purple ipod!"

Wow, this is SUCH a gift, to have these pictures! And did they mail you these photos? Or email them?

So Mom, does that make you ancient!? Lol! Love a child's perspective!

They emailed the photos to us.

And yes, to my children, I am ancient! One kids (a couple of years ago) told his teacher that is mom was 100 years old!

That is great that you could do that! I was thinking about emailing some pictures of Addy to the orphanage to pass on to her nanny.

When my niece lived with us she thought I was so old!!! She was 15 and I was 29!!! I just laughed and thought just you wait!

Hmmm your the best looking 100 year old I have ever seen;)
