Tea Eggs

DSC_0226

My girls both love Tea Eggs (it is one of Tim's favorites too!) and so I decided to try to make some.

Zoe gobbles up anything that resembles the food she was so used to eating in China, so I have been trying to cook more chinese recipes for her.

This takes a bit of time and I soaked mine overnight so that the color and flavor would be more intense.

The beauty of eggs makes me long for spring!

I'll have to try these for Ren - he is a big egg guy. I'm not a big fan of eggs - maybe that's why I've never heard of (noticed?) tea eggs before.

Thx for the recipe!

Addy loves eggs as well! I mean she loves egg whites! She picks out the yolk on hard boiled eggs :)

I am with you about spring! It can't come soon enough.

Do you have any other good, tried and true Chinese recipes? We are trying to cook Chinese at least once a week, but I find I am lacking some easy, good recipes.
