A trip to the hospital

DSC_0009-6

Yesterday, Josiah was giving out horse back rides and Zoe fell off his back.

She screamed. But being a typical and dramatic girl, we didn't really think it was too much to worry about.

After the crying didn't stop, Tim checked out her arm and she refused to move it or bend it.

After some quick x-rays and a check from the pediatric ER Doctor, it was popped right back into place. Zoe immediately stopped crying and started moving her arm like normal.

Abby had this exact injury at the same age. I am not sure why it is always the girls who get injured, dislocated elbows, broken bones, etc. My rough and tough boys have never broken any bones!

Oh, poor little pumpkin! I hope she is feeling better. (Hope big brother is feeling ok about the whole thing too!)

She is looking more grown up in these photo's... perhaps it is her hair that is growing in so nicely!

I was noticing the hair too - it really is growing! I'm glad the trip to the ER wasn't for anything more serious - and glad it wasn't a broken bone!

Oh gosh, that sounds painful, especially the popping it back into place part. Eek.

She looks pretty happy now though! Boys must get stronger bones than girls!

And agree with the previous commenters, her hair is growing so fast! I love the look she's giving you in that in the first photo! :)

The same thing happened to Jay-Jay. I remember the relief I felt the moment the doctor popped his elbow back into place.

Hope she is feeling much better now. Seems to be a common thing, but ouch!
