Moulin Rouge

Even though today I took hundreds of pictures and visited many amazing sights... my favourite was Moulin Rouge.

We had dinner crammed into the hall with many many people, but once the show started it really didn't matter. The dancers and costumes were amazing and the comedians were hilarious.

Today, we walked many staircases that looked like this and we are tired! But it is really amazing to think of who else climbed these steps, who entered these churches and palaces... the history of Paris is fascinating.

Happy anniversary! It sounds like you are having an amazing time!

Can't help but wonder, remembering how much you liked the book "Sarah's Key", whether you intend to visit the spot where the Vel d'hivers occured? I know the velodrome isn't there any longer but there is something there commemorating the spot, isn't there?

Sounds spectacular Paige. I would love to know how you enjoyed the food, or not! :)

The history is certainly fascinating!

The food here was decent. But our tables were so crowded, it was a bit awkward. Paris food in general was amazing... we ate foie gras nearly every day, steak tartare a couple of times, lots of cheese and wine, snails, and crepes of every kind!
