Welcome Home Silas

My creation

We are now home.   Silas ran into Tim's arms the minute he saw him at the airport, yelling "Baba!  Baba!"   He has been pretty attached to him since.

Silas also loves all his siblings.   Especially his big brothers, right now he expects them to play with him all day long.   He is also getting along with the little girls and is somewhat cautious with Abby.

Tim also did some redecorating while I was gone... I don't think this will be there much longer!

We are so glad to be home again.   After sitting for three hours on the Beijing tarmac, we finally left for our 11 hour flight to Vancouver, where we were delayed, and then got on a stand by flight fairly quickly.

We are sticking close to home for the next while.

My mom and I are coping quite well with the jet lag, but poor Micah is not.

I've been stalking for this post to hear a bit of how things were going. I got as far as the second sentence before bursting into tears. What a precious time for Tim! You made my day. Trusting all the transitions will continue to go well. I can't wait to meet him in August.

Tim was threatening the redecoration when we brought that. I made Dan look to see the pic, which he burst out laughing at and said "It looks hideous". I couldn't agree more. It is cool to have a bit of family history, but I can't imagine where you are going to put it. Maybe the garage. Except then you still have to look at it. *shudder* He needs a man cave or something. Ha!

You get to update your profile to mom of seven! :)

Much love from our house to yours.

It was amazing to see how happy Silas was with Tim at the airport! So glad you finally made it home after that really long flight with all the delays.
Ummm... I don't think Tim is allowed to do any more decorating. Good thing you weren't gone for longer or who knows what could have happened! lol

I thought I recognized that new decoration. Wasn't sure why but I have it figured out now!
Glad that Silas has taken so well to Tim as well as to the rest of the family. Rest well!

Welcome Home Paige and Silas. I look forward to visiting with you and meeting Silas sometime in early fall if all works out.

I loved the time I was able to spend with the family while you were in China. A great family to be part of.

Love "Auntie Dixie"

Such a beautiful sight to see Silas in his Daddy's arms and with such joy.

Congratulations once again on becoming a Mama for the 7th time and for sharing your journey with all of us!

The pictures say it all! Love how Silas is so excited to see his Baba.
Poor Micah! It is very hard for young kids. Praying he will adjust quickly.
It's a good thing you weren't gone may have ended up with camoflauge bedding as!

Tim requested the new decoration for 'his office'. I'm guessing this little detour was for the reaction he knew he's get. If he doesn't remove them in good time, you could make them a hood ornament for his old car.

A hood ornament would look really cool on your fancy car or you could use it for a coat and hat rack :) Minerva
